Group Leader - Application Testing

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Identifying rules and data required for testing various portals
• Drafting and documenting test cases and test results for testing
• Perform manual testing of suite of web applications developed by client in different environments
• Track & resolve reported defects using Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Preparing test report
• Collaborated with the development and testing teams in an offshore - onsite model
• Working on testing mobile application on android and iPhone devices.
• Perform Analysis of the inquiries/queries raised by clients and document them using our BRD/SRD templates and determine their relevance and impact as per our system
• Clarified and prioritized requirements by conducting brainstorming sessions with the stakeholders and SMEs
• Preparation of Test Cases, Test Reports, Use Cases, BRD, and various workflow diagrams
• Create wire frames for different dashboard and screens using Balsamiq mock-up tool for different web functionalities to communicate visual data flow to the end user
• Understanding service objectives and capturing business requirements through active listening & questioning techniques
• Performing sanity/smoke testing of implemented code
• Drafting and documenting Test cases and Test results for testing
• Resolving and /or escalating complex matters to the Project Manager in a timely manner
• Point of Contact for the Development team and business team
• Collaborated with the development and testing teams and finalized work estimates for the project

To be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the following qualification criteria:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role for 2-3 years
  
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills
• Engineering, BSc/BA in Computer Science, or a related field
