Title: Government Contract Proposal or Grant Writer

• We are seeking a Proposal or Grant Writer proficient in the Government arena to work closely with our Director. This individual will help the Director with planning, organizing, writing, examining, and revising government proposals.
• As the Government Writer, you would be responsible for analyzing RFP requirements and developing compliance matrixes, proposal schedules, outlines, and kickoff materials.

• This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating proposal materials and is looking for a big break in the government space.

• Knowledge working in the Federal Government / DOD space
• Previous experience in Business, Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
• 1 to 2 years of Proposal / Grant Writing experience (RFPs, SSNs, RTOPs, RFIs etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
• APMP membership, certification, or equivalent experience

• Designing and creating responses to RFPs.
• Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs
• Studying requests for proposal (RFPs); attending strategy meetings.
• Notices (SSNs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Task Order Proposals (RTOPs), etc.
• Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes.
• Copyediting proposal content, including reviewing for compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
