As a person you have a desire to work for a values-driven company along with experience of working in a fast-paced retail or logistics environment and are interest in retailing and/or home furnishing You have the ability to apply and take personal initiatives You are enthusiastic about work and working with others in a team You also have a flexible approach/open to change You have good personal discipline and good attention to detail You are experienced in following action plans and working methods through guidance from managers You possess the ability to prioritize and organize personal work tasks in order to make the most efficient use of time available Ability to work during early and late hours of the day You are computer literate You are able to make things happen in a fast-paced retail environment and use technical equipment For this role we believe you are Skilled in retail and/or logistics processes, tools and working method and familiarity with the IKEA Brand, culture and values, and organizational structure Eager to develop constantly and demonstrate a willingness to increase skills to benefit IKEA retailing and grow personally Interested in home furnishing, people s life at home and the IKEA product range Enjoy taking personal initiative and exceeding goals Enjoy working with logistics in a fast-paced and constantly changing retail environment Confident in approaching and talking to people and demonstrating a friendly manner when approached by colleagues Your responsibilities You are responsible as part of the goods flow team for the completion of the replenishment process in the most efficient, commercial and safe way possible before the store opens In addition, secure the goods flow operations necessary for preparing/picking orders for customers You develop and use knowledge and experience of IKEA operations, including the IKEA tools and expertise of colleagues in the goods flow team to achieve the agreed goods availability for customers at the lowest possible costs You shall plan, implement and evaluate store communication to ensure that it conveys the benefits of the IKEA Concept as well as completes and enhances range presentation by using proven solutions, best practices, guidelines and national directions Your responsibilities also include the following: Contribute to the highest goods availability for customers by the correct and on-time execution of the store goods flow tasks Contribute to the agreed goals of the action plan in the daily work Effectively perform the store goods flow operation and administrative tasks that support an efficient goods flow process Work according to inventory and administrative guidelines to maintain the data integrity of the inventory in order to maximize product availability for customers Commit to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and requirements, and actively help colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment and building Contribute to optimized goods flow operations in the store by working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way using and sharing good examples Be available to support colleagues in the department and other areas of the store when required
