Supervise daily godown operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
Maintain proper records of stock - raw materials, hardware, and finished furniture items.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and purchase departments for material requirements.
Ensure safe handling, stacking, and storage of wooden and furniture materials.
Prepare goods dispatch notes, challans, and maintain delivery schedules.
Check quality and quantity of materials received and dispatched.
Supervise loading/unloading activities and manage warehouse staff/labourers.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in the godown area.
Conduct regular stock verification and physical inventory audits.
Coordinate with logistics for timely delivery of products to clients or dealers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate or Diploma (preferably in Supply Chain / Warehouse Management).
Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse/godown supervision, preferably in furniture or manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and dispatch procedures.
Good leadership and team-handling skills.
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, inventory software).
Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
