Position Summary

This position will be within Marketing, Grant Thornton INDUS in the Market Intelligence Center of Excellence (MICOE) team, with the purpose of informing strategic marketing decisions that drive brand health, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for researching, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting market intelligence data related to markets, customers, competitors, economics, operations, and our own marketing performance \xe2\x80\x93 and translating into action.

Specific responsibilities include:

\xc2\xb7 Conduct market research and data analytics projects to gather intelligence to better understand the voice of our customers/target buyers (e.g., priorities, feelings, needs, preferences, behaviors).

\xc2\xb7 Gather competitive intelligence, analyze competitor landscape data, examine competitors\' marketing, brand positioning, and ads, and make recommendations to improve our competitive advantage.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct both secondary and primary market research using both qualitative and quantitative data.

\xc2\xb7 Learn and leverage analytics tools and technology platforms to collect and analyze data (e.g., MS Excel, Power BI, SQL, Alteryx, Python, SimilarWeb).

\xc2\xb7 Aggregate and synthesize vast amounts of qualitative and quantitative data and translate into simple, digestible reports with executive summaries and actionable market insights.

\xc2\xb7 Develop polished PowerPoint presentations, tables, and charts to communicate data stories to both executive level stakeholders and the larger marketing organization.

\xc2\xb7 Apply critical thinking to understand a request or hypothesis, identify appropriate data sources and market research methods to answer requests, analyze and communicate results.

\xc2\xb7 Support formulation of questions for focus groups and surveys and synthesize results into summaries and actions.

Qualifications and Requirements

Successful candidate will have the ability to produce requested research and analysis, but also think creatively to provide deep actionable insights and recommendations to inform marketing strategy.

\xc2\xb7 Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in market intelligence, market research, customer insight, competitive analysis, data analytics, and reporting

\xc2\xb7 Strong PowerPoint, executive level writing, and verbal communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with data analytics tools, such as Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Alteryx, Python, or SimilarWeb is a plus.

\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented.
