Position Summary Reporting to the Head of Global Network Services (GNS) the Director, Service Effectiveness is accountable for monitoring, measuring and driving service performance, compliance and improvement for the GNS organisation. Managing a team of service management professionals, the role is responsible for ensuring service effectiveness within GNS and for working with counterparts across Infrastructure & Cloud (I&C) and other parts of LSEG Technology to ensure service reporting and risk, audit and compliance actions are managed and completed on time. Role Responsibilities Acts as principle point of contact within GNS for Risk, Audit, Compliance and other related central functions Supports the Head of GNS with organisational design, implementation and related recruitment activities along associated knowledge management and communications activities (townhalls, newsletters etc) Co-ordinates GNS governance framework, meeting cadence, periodic reporting and chairs relevant meetings on behalf of Head of GNS Ensures mandatory training and time booking compliance across GNS teams working through and with other GNS Leadership Team members Leads risk, audit, compliance, Operational Resilience, Technology Resilience, ITDR, Network Isolation Testing (NIT) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) activity planning, delivery and reporting for GNS on behalf of the Head of GNS Responsible for implementation, adoption and compliance with all ITSM process with GNS including performance measurement and reporting to support GNS service improvement Organises and undertakes service reviews with GNS 3rd party providers, evaluating SLAs and working with Vendor Management to enforce commercial requirements Commissions and provides required service reporting (metrics, KPIs, SLOs/ SLIs) within GNS and to wider LSEG stakeholder community as required Creates and maintains GNS objectives and dashboard providing regular reports to GNS Leadership Team and input to I&C level dashboards and reports Recruits, develops and leads team of Service Managers and other network professionals to deliver Service Effectiveness responsibilities Experience/ Skills Required Minimum undergraduate degree in computer science or related degree and/ or10+ years working in global technology service based organization Demonstrable experience of leading and developing technology professionals Project Management Experience with accreditation (PMP/Prince 2)ITILCertification (ideally ITIL 4)with demonstrable application on large global organisation Experience of working with global teamsin a 24x7 environment.Budget/ headcount planning and tracking Experience of working in a global 24/7 network or infrastructure service operations Excellent stakeholder management and communications capabilities up to C-level At LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
