Job Title General Manager SBU/Department/Fun ction Quality/QMS Band M4A Role Purpose To be responsible for Product/ Process Quality and Quality Management System, Optimum resource utilization, Meeting customer delivery schedule, Internal/External Audits, Certification Audit. Support to Improve Process capability, customer interface for all customer quality requirement. Reporting Relationships Reporting into Product and Process Quality, QMS AVP- Plant Operations Direct Reportees Manager - Inspection Manager -Documentation Manager- QMS Product inspection, documentation, Internal and external audit, process improvement RRCA. Contacts Internal Purpose of Interaction Head of Production To achieve production as per schedule. Head of SCM To overview the outsourcing requirement and supplier audits Head of Logistics To make sure the part movement happens as per lead time. Head of Projects & sales To establish customer relations. Head of ME To enable the proper processes. External Purpose of Interaction Customers To support customer visits & audits. Auditors To have a proper system established Key Result Areas Financial Perspective To achieve optimum lead time to achieve targeted sales and production Optimization of procurement activity with SCM team. Rejection analysis with production and SCM and fix the issues Budget v/s Actual $/hr recovery rate by M/c ROI analysis. Customer Perspective OTIF No of Continual improvements identified and implemented Customer Satisfaction Index Internal Process Perspective Internal OTIF % of lean projects implemented. Optimum utilization of machines. No of NCR's and action plan to close No of implemented best - in -class planning processes and no of improvements for better productivity. Capability Perspective Planed vs achieved production Machine hours available vs utilized No of resources recruited in consultation with HR No of training sessions to improve the efficiency Baseline Responsibilities . Alignment with Aequs core values . Own and drive quality and QMS functions to meet the set targets. . Overall strategy to achieve to meet the customer OTIF. . Manage and issue timely instruction to the down line performers to achieve the organization Goal. . Optimal utilization of available resource for better productivity. . Interactions with related departments like Production, Manufacturing Engineering, SCM in as and when new products are added and in ROI analysis. . Manpower planning, utilization and control of staff members working closely with Human Resources Department. . Guiding the team for machining concepts like Inspection, QMS, Statistical tools gauges, CMM programming . Guiding the team on Quality standards and continuous improvement concepts. . To maintain discipline and handle employee grievance working closely with Human resource Department. Educational Requirement and Experience BE/PG with MBA & 20 years of experience
