Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Brand Related Contracts:

  • Support contract negotiations with Creative Agency, Image buying, Contacts with Media Agency, Production Rates for Television Commercials, TVC spot buying rates with Channels, Negotiations with Radio Channels, Newpaper and other mediums (like Cable TV, Cinema) and Digital Spends, platforms and performance Monitoring Contract Negotiations.
  • Jointly work with the Marketing Brand Team, Creative and Media Agency for understanding the business requirement.
  • Identification of Cost elements and derive internal costs for negotiations.
  • Support during negotiation with vendors.
Trade Items :
  • Contracts for SIM Cards (m2m, Industrial, consumer, e-UICC)
  • Coordinate with Marketing / Network team / VAS team to finalise specs in line with the TRAI requirements.
  • Conduct e-bidding and Issue Rate Contracts to finalised vendors.
  • Monitor the Share of Business (SoB) at regular intervals.
Events & Outdoors:
  • Finalisation of Marketing Events like KBC, T- Walk , Filmfare Awards, IIFA, Sports etc. Finalization of contracts for AOR (Agency on Record) for Outdoor Media.
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to finalise the Scope of Services and the branding elements required.
  • Support for negotiations
  • Enter in to an agreement with the finalised agencies.
  • Jointly monitor the performance of AOR and take actions in the event of poor performance.
Other Major Contracts:
  • Brand Ambassadors/ PR Agency Contract, Research Agency Contracts (BTI, CSAT etc), National Bill Printing Contract etc.
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to finalise specs and makes of products/ services required.
  • Support for negotiations
  • Enter in to an agreement with the finalised agencies.
Circle NFA Approvals :
  • Evaluation of circle NFA and ensuring standardisation of prices/standard products
  • Identifying standard products with high frequency of purchases.
  • Support Circle Teams to Negotiate and finalise commercials with these vendors.
  • Evaluate the NFA and recommend for approval of VH/CCO.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
  • Understanding of Brand, Marketing, Creative space
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Must have technical / professional qualifications
  • Graduation/Post Graduation, Certification in supply chain preferred
