Role and Responsibilities

• Manage group accounting operations through a team including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, payroll and consolidation

• Order to cash process including revenue recognition

• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

• Drive month-end and year-end close process

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Coordinate, correspond & establish a good connect with external stakeholders like investors, bankers, consultants, and others

• Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation. Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems

• Motivate and lead finance team members

• Additional controller duties as necessary

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller

• CA or CWA or MBA

• Excellent communication

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Experience with creating consolidated financial statements

• Excellent team management

• Oracle ERP knowledge

Skills:

• Experience in ERP implementation

• Knowledge in high level compliance laws of US, India and other geographies is an added advantage

• M&A integrations

• Experience in managing Global controllership role

Additional NotesCommunication has to be extremely good as he will be interacting globally
Candidates from IT /MNC backgrounds are preferred, Strict no for manufacturing background
