About the department The Commercial & Corporate Affairs \xe2\x80\x93 Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit also supports Biopharm global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. The Novo Nordisk Corporate Strategy has established the ambition to become leaders in cardiovascular diseases as a distinct Therapy Area with in Other Serious Chronic Diseases (OSCD). The commercial CVD team is therefore ramping up efforts to ensure and make the CVD therapy area a significant growth contributor for the company for the future.

The position Communication will play an integral part in ensuring aligned communication across Novo Nordisk functions and geographies as well as to all of our external stakeholders, such as investors, physicians and patients.Act as communication partner for the cardiovascular disease (CVD) commercial unit within the other serious chronic diseases (OSCD) commercial unit.

  • Work closely with commercial team to develop and lead strategic communication plans that support the business objectives today and, in the future
  • Development of basic communication tools, including PPT, storylines, messaging, imagery, films, fact sheets and current digital assets
  • Manage external vendors (and select new ones when needed) to ensure the communications strategy is executed in a timely manner and at high quality
  • Work closely with GMA- (Global Medical Affairs) to identify opportunities for communication around publication plans to raise visibility of data through internal and external communications channels
  • Adhere to budgets, agreed timelines and quality requirements, and continuously improve on quality, cost and time

Qualification & Experience
  • Degree in communication/business, public relations or journalism.
  • 8+ years working experience within the area of corporate communication, with documented results from a wide range of communication disciplines
  • Experience in developing successful disease awareness campaigns with clear call-to-action and strong impact
  • Experience in consulting and training of senior management in relation to leadership communication and building reputation
  • Proven results in managing complex, cross-organizational projects
  • Disease market knowledge within cardiovascular disease is a clear advantage
  • Experience with medical communications and publications
