Description General information:We are hiring for the Title "GIS Secondary Engineer". You will be assigned role of secondary engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for preparing secondary drawings and cabling activities for GIS/PASS projects.Responsibilities:Knowledge of Power System and Substations is must, specially related to interlocks, protection system for HV products. Preparation of project schematics based on customer requirements. Communicating with customer, solving technical queries related to Product / Project / Manufacturing. Designing control philosophy and wiring schematics for GAS INSULATED / PASS Switchgear. Closely coordinate and collaborate with Project Engineers, Manufacturer, testing as well to furnish correct and optimized schematic drawings. Performing diagnostics and analysis to make recommendations for improvement / optimization GIS / PASS LCC\'s based on customer requirement. Designing the process level drawings for High Voltage Devices in GIS. Designing drawing for multiple projects / substations in India and abroad. Preparing the Bill of Material and GA for the Local Control Cubical of GIS / PASS with conventional devices and/or BCU. Design of Harness Layout / cabling activities for cables between GIS bay and LCC as per configuration. Design and/or selection of Fixing/laying components for cables, preparation of part list/BOM for harness assembly. Cross functional collaboration and cooperation with team building sprit.Your background:B.E. / B. Tech Electrical with 10-15 years of relevant experience. Preference will be for qualified candidate worked on same / relevant background and GIS Project / Secondary Engineering. Good knowledge of Harness layout design considerations Good awareness of Selection of harness components & routing concepts HV GIS/ HV Product knowledge with knowledge of national & IEC standards. Proficiency in Zuken E3 software is a must. Knowledge of Auto CAD is added advantage. Excellent written and Verbal Communication skills. Presentation skills.
