Modular Advanced Control for HVDC (MACH(TM)), is the brain in HVDC transmission systems. This system is designed to run 24/7 for thirty years or more, allowing the HVDC system to be controlled and protected in the most reliable way throughout its lifetime.
The system consists of Control & Protection Main Computers, Station Control and Monitoring servers, Operator Workstations, Digital Signal Processing units, Input / Output systems and Valve Control Units.
How you'll make an impact:
To Define system verification scope, areas, considering the boundaries and limits, performance & parameters, functional & non-functional requirements. Write Test Plan / Test Specifications, Test Cases / Scenarios for verifying the functionalities of the Control System, for system level verification, for the system requirements / parameters.
To Test Environment is to be created with the components of MACH Control System in the Test Lab Facility, with Computers, Servers, Input - Output Boards and Simulation Environments, for test developments and execution. Execution of Test Cases, for various software and hardware releases using the developed test cases in the test lab.
Report on the test execution details to the development team for further actions. Capturing the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), report & use for further improvements. Maintain the test environment with updated software and hardware for current and future use
.
To Support to establish and maintain processes for system verification, within the overall MACH control system product development & release, for planning, execution, reviews & reporting. Adhere to the defined & approved process, in full, all the time.
To Focus on automation, continuously, for efficiency and quality improvements. Define & implement. Continuously improve the test scenarios, execution and reporting, for efficiency and effectiveness.
To Support the management for strategy and planning, for future system verification needs. Deliver value with Quality, On-Time.
