Job Description


General Manager/ Senior Manager Finance

- Maintaining financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies and procedures.

- Managing purchases and related payments such as custom duty, GST, insurance, CHA bills etc.

- Overseeing remittances to customers and vendors and settlements of bill of entries with the banks.

- Leading the finance team and motivating them to contribute to the unit\'s growth objectives.

- Coordination with the customers for account reconciliations and closure of customer accounts whenever required.

- Set KRAs for each team member as per the business requirement / or as desired to get the best output for the team.

- Supporting the unit in achieving its goals by providing strategic financial and business control guidance in line with corporate guidelines.

- Involving in project financials from the beginning, including reviewing tender commercial terms, assessing financial risks, understanding cost overruns, project duration, price variations, and joint venture roles. Developing risk mitigation plan, monthly profit-loss and cash flow planning for projects.

- Supervise internal audit and statutory audits ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

- Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring cash inflows and outflows, optimizing working capital, and implementing cash flow forecasting.

- Prepare accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company policies.

- Perform monthly closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet analysis.

- Generate advanced level reports using MS Excel, presenting financial data and analysis to support decision-making processes.

- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor budgets, providing financial insights and guidance throughout the process.

- Ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements, coordinating with external advisors as necessary.

- Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Work Experience:

- 10 - 15 Years

- MBA in Finance

- Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, with experience in a managerial position.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial software applications.

- Preferably has knowledge of IND-AS.

- Work experience in a manufacturing entity is preferred.
