\xef\x82\xb7 Identify and develop vendors for the supply of all types of trims and accessories to meet the company\'s apparel production requirements. \xef\x82\xb7 Research to understand the company\'s operations needs and evaluate every sourcing alternative \xef\x82\xb7 Negotiating price and contract terms to ensure continuous and on-time supply of materials; supervising all negotiations and providing guidelines for preparing purchase documents and entering into a contract. \xef\x82\xb7 Build relationships with vendors and key suppliers. Negotiate to reduce material costs and obtain the best possible price. \xef\x82\xb7 Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices. Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations. \xef\x82\xb7 Contribute to enhancing profitability by (i) making quality materials available on time, (ii) controlling or reducing costs, (iii) improving payment terms, (iv) reducing inventory, and (v) optimising supply chain efficiencies. \xef\x82\xb7 Develop a sourcing plan for both local and international sources, so that fast and effective sourcing operations are possible. Monitor the sourcing strategy and change it according to the market conditions. \xef\x82\xb7 There is a need to ensure that the decision-making process is supported by technical and functional knowledge of the category and leading-edge analytical methods that encompass people, systems, and financial measures. \xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate with designers, the merchandising team, product development, production planning, and the inventory team, for existing/new product developments and trend forecasting. Coordinating with fabric producing mills, vendors, and suppliers for the quality and timely delivery of trims and accessories. \xef\x82\xb7 Perform and analyse the monthly forecasting report to ensure and maintain an acceptable inventory level. \xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate with international logistic personnel to ensure proper shipment delivery. \xef\x82\xb7 Evaluate letter of credit documents and collaborate with the accounting department to ensure timely financial obligations. \xef\x82\xb7 Evaluation of the quality of raw materials so that the right quality materials can be sourced. \xef\x82\xb7 They should be able to handle the purchase of raw materials on their own, as well as supervise knitting, dyeing, and other processes in the entire fabric production process.
