We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our OTT division. The General Manager will play a crucial role in the growth, marketing, operations, and revenue generation for our digital content platform. Position: General Manager (OTT Industry) Location: Gurgaon Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: As the General Manager in the OTT industry at TMF, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our OTT platform. Your primary focus will be to build and grow the platform, develop effective marketing strategies, optimize operations, and drive revenue generation. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive long-term strategy for the OTT division, aligning it with the company\'s overall objectives.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the OTT industry and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of the division\'s vision.
Platform Building:
  • Oversee content acquisition and content creation efforts to continuously expand the platform\'s offerings.
  • Drive platform growth by identifying and negotiating partnerships with content providers, creators, and distributors.
  • Maintain a strong and competitive library of digital content.
Marketing and User Acquisition:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the user base and enhance brand awareness.
  • Create and execute user acquisition campaigns, both organic and paid, to drive user engagement and subscription growth.
  • Analyze user data and feedback to refine marketing strategies and improve user retention.
Operations and Performance Management:
  • Optimize platform operations, including content delivery, streaming quality, and user experience.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the division\'s performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Revenue Generation:
  • Design and implement revenue generation strategies to meet and exceed financial goals.
  • Leverage advertising, subscription models, and other monetization methods to maximize revenue.
  • Identify and explore new revenue streams, including partnerships and sponsorships.
Team Management:
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Recruit, train, and develop talent to ensure a strong and capable workforce.
  • Provide guidance, support, and regular feedback to team members.
Content Curation and Quality Control:
  • Ensure that the content library is curated effectively, offering a diverse range of high-quality content.
  • Implement content quality control processes, including monitoring content for compliance with standards and audience preferences.
Pricing and Packaging Strategies:
  • Develop and manage pricing and packaging strategies for subscription plans, pay-per-view content, and advertising options.
  • Continuously evaluate pricing models to optimize revenue and user acquisition.
Data Analytics and Insights:
  • Utilize data analytics tools and user insights to make informed decisions regarding content selection, user engagement, and advertising effectiveness.
  • Regularly analyze user data to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for improvement.
Customer Support and Satisfaction:
  • Oversee customer support functions, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of user issues and inquiries.
  • Establish and monitor customer satisfaction metrics, and implement strategies to enhance the user experience.
Regulatory Compliance and Licensing:
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance with copyright, licensing, and distribution rights.
  • Establish strong relationships with industry organizations and agencies to navigate regulatory challenges.
Innovation and Technology:
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and innovations in the OTT industry.
  • Explore and implement new features, such as interactive content, augmented reality, and virtual reality experiences.
Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, such as content piracy, security breaches, or platform downtime.
  • Implement robust security measures and disaster recovery plans.
International Expansion:
  • Explore opportunities for international expansion, including content localization and entering new markets.
  • Adapt the platform to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic audiences.
Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the budget for the OTT division, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation.
  • Monitor expenses and revenue to maintain profitability.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the OTT industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue and user growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of digital content trends, streaming technologies, and audience behaviour.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead change.
  • Strong marketing and user acquisition experience.
