GM, Corporate CommunicationsPosition Brief: GM Corporate Communications will be responsible for planning and executing the company\'s corporate communication efforts. She/He will work closely with the executive leadership team to enhance our corporate reputation, strengthen brand awareness, and effectively communicate the company\'s strategic initiatives to both internal and external stakeholdersKey Responsibilities:- Strategic Communication: Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communication strategy that aligns with the company\'s goals and values.- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers. Act as the spokesperson for the company when required.- Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency across all communication channels and materials.- Crisis Management: Lead crisis communication efforts, providing clear and timely communication during challenging situations.- Public Relations: Plan and execute PR campaigns to increase the company\'s visibility and positive public image.- Content Development: Supervise the creation of press releases, articles, speeches, and other communication materials.- Social Media Management: Manage the company\'s social media presence, ensuring it reflects the brand\'s image and engages with the target audience.- Budget Management: Responsible for the corporate communication budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and activities.- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of communication professionals, setting clear goals and ensuring their professional growth.- Measurement and Analytics: Implement systems to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide regular reports to the executive team.Qualifications:- Master\'s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.- 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media.- One should have been associated with MNC/ leading Indian organisations- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies.- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in corporate communications.- Crisis management and issues handling experience.- Strong network of media contacts.- Proficiency in using communication and analytics tools.- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
