Job Description

This role in the chemical industry requires expertise in managing accounts and taxation strategies effectively in a dynamic environment. This will include financial reporting, strong compliance with statutory and GST regulations, effective audit management, and the implementation of robust systems and controls across all group entities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations across entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, timely audits, strong internal controls, and continuous process automation.
• Lead all aspects of GST compliance, including filings, reconciliations, audits, and dispute management, while ensuring accurate classification, ITC management, and adherence to evolving tax laws.
• Drive effective MIS and ERP systems to deliver timely, accurate management insights and seamless integration of financial and business data.
• Lead, mentor, and build high-performing finance and taxation teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and capability development.
• Collaborate with the CFO on fund utilization, cash flow management, and financing activities, while supporting broader areas like direct tax, treasury, and budgeting.

• CA with 10 years of experience
• With at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity in finance or accounting functions and minimum 3 years exposure in manufacturing
• Exposure in managing multi-entity structures and tax compliance is essential
• In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, and GST regulations
• Proven ability to manage audits and tax assessments, with strong compliance orientation
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and finance-related automation tools
