The GDS CR Supervising Associate is a key role in the GDS CR function, supporting the GDS CR Central and India Leadership to facilitate the planning and execution of CR agenda, volunteering events and impact programs that tackle some of society’s toughest challenges. The GDS CR Assistant Director (Ripples), India is a key role in the GDS CR function, supporting the GDS CR Central and India Leadership. The role holder should leverage their experience and knowledge of managing medium to large CR portfolio of employee volunteering and project managing impact CR projects. The role holder should demonstrate a true passion for driving change both within and outside of the organisation, using her/his position to connect with change-makers across our business and networks, while channelling their knowledge, skills and experience to tackle some of society’s toughest challenges Your key responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing the CR portfolio for NCR region.
  • Work with the CR leadership to develop and strengthen a strong portfolio of impact programs that utilise the skills of EYGDS employees and make a tangible impact on society.
  • Support the design, piloting and activation of new global offerings, associated toolkits leveraging leading practice and technology to develop EY’s internal capability, increase staff participation and drive considerable external impact
  • Ensure the overall integrity of the offering portfolio, mitigating/managing the risks associated with large-scale global deployment
  • Work with the measurement and reporting team to ensure that employee participation and impact data relating to central and local initiatives are recorded, tracked and communicated as part of the wider CR functional strategy using appropriate data management tools and other communications formats.
  • Effectively partner with the communications and engagement team to create content and communication strategies that drive internal demand / participation for initiatives as well as raise EY GDS external brand in this area
  • Collaborate with enabling functions and virtual teams to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives (e.g., Risk, Legal, Finance, Security etc.)
  • Identify global synergies through maintaining a strong understanding of aligned initiatives, credentials and impact stories, acting as a point of contact for region delivery teams within India and the center Corporate Responsibility Network who are deploying services or opportunities
  • Support relationship management with internal EY stakeholders and external relationships with third parties and beneficiaries
  • Support strategic projects on an ad hoc basis

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • 10-12 years of work experience in relevant area of Corporate Responsibility and Social and Environmental Impact, Master’s degree or equivalent or bachelor’s degree with experience in development sector
  • Project management skills with relevant experience delivering large-scale employee engagement programs
  • Experience engaging, influencing and building collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders within and outside of the organisation
  • Familiarity /experience in using diverse digital tools for communication and collaboration, including social media tools
  • Flexibility to travel within India
