Job Function

To strengthen our team \xe2\x80\x9eAutomated Driving Control Unit (ADCU)\xe2\x80\x9d at Bangalore. Mainly we are looking out for highly motivated individuals for joining us on the challenges in the field of driver assistance systems towards autonomous driving.

As a Functional Safety Manager you are responsible for the defining/creating, ensuring implementation of safety concepts for ADAS products

You will work in a world-wide team of experts in the fields of system engineering, control algorithm development, software, hardware, system test and industrialization.

Principal Accountabilities

Deployment as Project Safety Manager in basic or series projects of the business unit Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

Creation of safety concepts for complex control devices in the product environment of ADAS / ADCU in close coordination with the specialist teams

Ensuring the correct implementation of the FSM specifications in close coordination with the departments

Creation of the following safety-related work products: Project Safety Plan, Item

Definition, development interface agreement, coordination of safety goals, safety Release recommendation, safety case.

Development of innovative strategies and methods to increase the functional Software security based on the requirements of standards such as ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE

Training and coaching of the project team with regard to security-relevant hardware,Software and system development.

• Experienced System Engineer between 8 to 12 years in Automotive Safety critical product development experience
• Experience in leading a small to medium size team
• Experience in the development of security-relevant embedded systems
• Knowledge of requirements engineering + tools (doors, MKS, IMS)
• Knowledge of the UML-based architecture description (Rhapsody or comparable)
• Knowledge of safety norms and standards (ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE)
• Very good written and spoken English
• Good comprehension and analytical mindset
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working in a dynamic, agile team.

First professional experience in the field of driver assistance and active safety systems

Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. IBM Doors, IMS, ...)

Experience with architecture tools (e.g. Rational Rhapsody)

Experience in software and hardware architecture
