Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

The primary focus at EITSI is to develop the next generation LIMS (Lab Information Management system), Customer portals, e-commerce solutions, ERP/CRM system, Mobile Apps & other B2B platforms for various Eurofins Laboratories and businesses. Job Title: Functional Analyst

Reporting To: Product Owner

Work location: Bangalore.

Roles and responsibilities

• Ensure requirements gathering, collect functional requirements and non-functional requirements in cooperation with IT and Business/Operational Departments.

• Liase with interfacing application responsible to design and define the integration requirements and finalize the Service Requirements before development starts;

• Create User Requirements and Backlog Items (if required) for developers and ensure approval by relevant stakeholders before development / configuration starts (Key Account Managers, Users, Product Owner, Interfacing Application responsible);

• Groom the requirements with development team and oversee the implementation of related changes; and provide to support to Developers and QA for any requirements related queries.

• Manage the proper execution of functional test once the solution is available and ensure Solution is ready for User Testing;

• Provide documentation for users and business as and when required to gather requirements, support understanding of requirements and usage of application;

• Support deployment activities for final solution to get ready for Go Live and ensure close communication/cooperation with Development Team in the next steps;

• Be actively involved in Change Request Management and act as first contact for change request by key users and provide continuous support in analysis of impact and value;

• Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.

• Provide backlog management, and elaboration of the relevant user stories

Mindset, experience and skills

Experience in software development lifecycle with minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

• Knowledge of Agile process and principles

• Fluent in English is required, French is a plus

• Fast Learner with aptitude to gain end user and customer trust, perspective and distill the knowledge to drive product enhancements

• Analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and to back up assumptions and develop business cases

• High attention to detail and an ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

• Ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape.
• Able to work in a co-located environment with diverse team
