Job Description

The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front office department, including reception, guest services, reservations, and concierge. The role ensures smooth check-in/check-out processes, handles guest concerns, manages staff, and maintains the highest level of guest satisfaction and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and manage all front office operations, including reception, reservations, concierge, and guest services. Ensure smooth and efficient check-in/check-out processes. Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving complaints or requests. Train, mentor, and schedule front office staff to ensure quality service delivery. Monitor room availability, rates, and reservations in coordination with the sales and revenue team. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards. Prepare and review front office reports (occupancy, arrivals, departures, VIP guests, revenue, etc.). Manage guest feedback and implement corrective actions for service improvement. Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments for seamless guest experience. Handle VIP guests, special requests, and group bookings with attention to detail. Ensure proper cash handling, billing, and audit procedures. Conduct regular departmental meetings and briefings with staff. Monitor and control front office expenses and contribute to achieving departmental budgets.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of front office experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory/assistant manager role. Strong knowledge of front office operations, reservations systems, and PMS software (Opera/IDS/Cloud PMS preferred). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to handle pressure and guest complaints professionally. Knowledge of multiple languages (preferred but not mandatory).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
