Maintain proper records of guest arrivals, departures, and billing.
Operate the front office system for check-ins, check-outs, and room allocations.
Ensure guest details are properly documented as per hotel policy.
Handle cash, credit card, and other modes of payment.
Prepare guest bills and ensure timely settlement.
Maintain daily cash report and handover during shift change.
Act as a communication link between guests and other departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance).
Inform housekeeping of room status updates (check-outs, early arrivals, late check-outs).
Coordinate with security regarding lost & found, guest safety, and VIP protocols.
Anticipate guest needs and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Handle complaints professionally, escalating to the Duty Manager if required.
Follow up to confirm guest issues are resolved.
Maintain logbooks, shift reports, and handover notes.
Update records of occupancy, revenue, and daily reports for management.
Adhere to hotel SOPs and grooming standards.
Assist with concierge services (transport, travel desk, tours, etc.).
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
