The Front Office Assistant is responsible for handling front desk operations, welcoming guests/visitors, managing inquiries, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests and visitors in a polite, professional, and friendly manner
Handle check-in and check-out procedures (for hotels/resorts)
Answer phone calls, emails, and front desk inquiries promptly
Maintain guest records, reservation details, and front office documentation
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments
Handle billing, cash transactions, and basic accounting entries if required
Assist in preparing reports, registers, and daily front office logs
Resolve guest complaints courteously and escalate when necessary
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Follow company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum qualification: Plus Two / Diploma / Graduate
Prior experience in front office or customer service preferred
Good communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage)
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, PMS software preferred)
Pleasant personality with a customer-oriented attitude
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Willingness to work in shifts (for hotel/resort operations)
