KRA1

Capex Project: Supervise and implement of civil work.

1. Study design drawings of Civil Structures / Foundations in- house or in co-ordination with consultant, and get its Validation and approval with DH civil
2. Implementation and execution of civil construction within scheduled time & budgeted with the best quality standards, efficient material management and best accounting practices which includes proper inventory management, material reconciliation and proper utilization.
3. Assist DH civil to development of project budget and schedule.
4. Prepare time schedules for progress of the construction activities on the sites.

KRA2

Plant Maintenance : Implement and supervise the maintenance activities of Civil Department

1. Ensure stability of buildings, structures & other required infra-structures, by periodic inspection, analysis, planning and implementing required rectification.
2. Supervise the workmanship, work progress so as they meet with the requirement.
3. Interaction with consultants, architects, vendors for technical discussion and for freezing of specifications.
4. Interaction with internal customers and understand their need to take-up proactive measures.
5. Implement Certification of contractors bills for ensuring timely payments .
6. Follow up with Stores & Purchase for timely availability of required items.
7. Ensuring & implementing the Safety
Management at sites

KRA3

Townships Management: Supervise and implement the development and maintenance activities of townships including drinking water

1. Maintaining the critical services like water supply, sanitary and drainage system.
2. Ensuring the stability of the buildings, structures & other required infrastructures of township by periodic inspection, analysis, Planning and implementing required rectification.
3. Ensuring the timely and smooth maintenance services like painting, carpentry, masonry, plumbing to keep them satisfied.

KRA4

Cost Control Preparation of maintenance budget related to civil activities and assist civil Head for preparation of Planning & Budgeting exercise to control expenditure.

1. Assist DH for Identification & preparation of cost estimation for major civil activities for the financial year.
2. Supervise and control financial impact of various activities of the department so as the cost is controlled.
3. Scrutiny of indent for specification, quantity requirement and analyse the need of various maintenance & construction requirements so that correct quality & quantity are procured.
4. Monitor & control of overtime so that they are within the target.

KRA5

Safety Management, ISO, WCM: Improvement.

1. Implement all the safety related standards, timely action against the safety violations and observations to ensure that safety standards are adhered to.
2. Implementation of safety & pollution control measures.
3. Timely completion of statutory inspection related to stability of building & structures in consultation with architecture/consultants.
4. Review, monitor & control for the timely implementation of Kaizen/Suggestion schemes.
5. Maintain statutory records updated along with observations and clearance

KRA6

Scaffolding erection and dismentalling

1. Conduct training to the workmen and team for erection and dismentalling of scaffold .
2. Implement timely erection of scaffold all over the unit.
3. Update all compliances as per standard.
