Team Overview We are looking for a Front End UI Developer to join us in Chandigarh. At EquiLend, we understand the pivotal role that our user interfaces play in the success of our software solutions. As a UI Developer, your role involves crafting user-friendly and visually captivating interfaces that empower our clients to effortlessly explore intricate financial information. Your skills are pivotal in the ongoing enhancement of our securities lending products, enabling informed decision-making, enhancing efficiency, and providing our institutional clients with a seamless user experience. Role Responsibilities Write high-quality reusable code to develop scalable UI systems that are intuitive, high functioning and in adherence to appropriate industry standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative user interfaces. Design, implement, and manage new web-based applications as well as ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the existing applications. Participate in all aspects of the Agile software development lifecycle. Assist client support personnel in the remediation of production issues, defects, and bugs. Implement test plans and scenarios. Required Skills 4+ years commercial experience in UI development Demonstrated expertise in front-end development, particularly with React.js Proficient in JavaScript programming and design patterns, capable of crafting modular, reusable, object-oriented, and functional JavaScript code using the latest HTML, CSS, and JavaScript standards. Comprehensive knowledge of agile methodologies Familiarity with at least one of the commonly used JavaScript build and packaging tools. Knowledge of version control systems, such as GIT Strong written and verbal communication skills, exercises sound judgment Open to acquiring an in-depth, technical understanding of the underlying business processes. Financial services experience is helpful, but not essential.
