Role Overview:



The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check-in/check-out process. The role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle guest queries efficiently while maintaining a positive image of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:



Greet and welcome guests, visitors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly. Maintain the front desk area, lobby, and reception neat and presentable. Handle guest complaints and issues professionally, escalating to the manager when necessary. Manage reservations, room allocations, and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments. Maintain visitor logs, records, and daily reports accurately. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Required Skills & Competencies:



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office / hotel management software (if applicable). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance and grooming standards. Problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude. Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience:



Minimum qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent. Prior experience in a receptionist/front desk role (hospitality experience preferred). Fluency in English and Hindi (additional languages will be an advantage).

Work Conditions:



Shift-based work including weekends and holidays as per hotel requirements. Uniform and grooming standards to be maintained as per company policy.
