Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales
Identify and develop new customers for
import & export freight services
Generate leads through calls, emails, meetings, references, and networking
Convert enquiries into confirmed business
Achieve monthly and quarterly
sales targets
2. Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Understand client logistics requirements and provide suitable solutions
Act as the main point of contact for commercial discussions
Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
3. Pricing & Quotations
Prepare and share freight quotations for
Air / Sea / Customs / Transportation
Coordinate with operations, pricing, and vendors for competitive rates
Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms
4. Coordination with Internal Teams
Coordinate with
Operations, Documentation, and Accounts teams
Ensure smooth handover of confirmed shipments to operations
Support resolution of billing or service-related issues
5. Market & Competitor Analysis
Track market trends, freight rates, and competitor activities
Provide feedback to management on pricing and service improvements
6. Reporting & MIS
Maintain sales MIS, pipeline reports, and customer data
Update CRM / Keka / internal systems regularly
Share weekly and monthly sales performance reports
Dealing with shipping lines | export and import customer service in freight department
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
