Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a network of shippers and carriers to facilitate freight transportation.

Negotiate rates and terms of contracts with shippers and carriers.
Coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Resolve any issues or delays that arise during transportation and communicate updates to all relevant parties.
Provide exceptional customer service and act as the primary point of contact for clients and carriers.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize freight brokerage software and tools to manage shipments, track loads, and generate reports.
Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and customer interactions.
Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, sales, and accounting, to ensure smooth freight operations and timely payment processing.
