Title: Franchise Development Manager - India Location: Bangalore Industry: Hospitality (Hotel & Adventure resort) POSITION SUMMARY As a Franchise Development Manager for AREA 83 in India, you will lead the strategic expansion of our franchise operations in the region. You will be responsible for developing and implementing franchise models, identifying potential franchise partners, and establishing a successful franchise network. Your role will be crucial in growing our brand presence and revenue in the Indian market RESPONSIBILITIES Franchise Model Development: Research, develop, and refine franchise models suitable for the Indian market. Create comprehensive franchise packages, including business plans, support structures, and financial projections. Ensure that the franchise models comply with Indian legal and regulatory requirements. Franchise Partner Recruitment: Identify and evaluate potential franchise partners who align with our company\'s vision and values. Develop and maintain a database of prospective franchisees. Manage the franchise application and selection process, including interviews and due diligence. Market Analysis and Location Selection: Conduct thorough market research to identify suitable locations for franchise outlets. Evaluate demographics, competition, and market demand to make informed site selection decisions. Negotiate and secure favourable lease agreements and property locations. Training and Support: Develop and execute training programs to onboard new franchise partners. Provide ongoing support and resources to franchisees to ensure their success. Establish communication channels for franchisees to address their needs and concerns. Legal and Compliance: Ensure that all franchise agreements and contracts adhere to Indian legal requirements. Stay updated on changes in Indian franchise regulations and adjust our operations accordingly. Collaborate with legal counsel to navigate regulatory matters. Brand Consistency: Oversee the adherence to brand standards and ensure consistency among all franchise outlets. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain quality and service standards. Implement marketing and branding strategies in line with the company\'s global image. Financial Management: Collaborate with franchise partners to establish financial goals and budgeting. Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement. Review and provide guidance on financial reporting and budget management. REQUIREMENT Professional skills Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master\'s degree is a plus). Proven experience in franchise development and management in the Indian market. Strong knowledge of Indian franchise regulations and legal requirements. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in using business software and tools.
