To engage & inspire Major Donors, Foundations & Corporates to contribute resources in support of MSF s objectives and activities. To position MSF India among current and potential Major Donors, Foundations & Corporates, as a credible medical humanitarian aid organization in the country. MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting Activities (HOW) Support Strategic Development Develop a complete understanding of MSF India s overall fundraising strategies. Develop Major Donors, Foundations & Corporate Fundraising Strategy for MSF India in collaboration with the Head of Fundraising. Implementation of Foundations, Major Donor & Corporate Fundraising Strategy Implement Foundations / Corporate & Major donor strategy with the aim of increasing income from this channel. Secure Strategic partnerships and sponsorships from corporate/major donors Analyze data, locate trends, and evolve plans to improve foundations, corporate and major donor fundraising operations and resource generation Ensure timely, accurate, and effective donor servicing (mailers, annual reports, receipts, forms, information requests, activity status updates, tax certificates, queries, , invitation for events, etc) towards relationship building and retention Develop relevant fundraising communication materials for various needs: electronic and print as relevant in collaboration with the communications team Undertaking any other reasonable task that the Head of Fundraising sees fit for the smooth running of the channel. Monitoring and Reporting Present and discuss objective/plans/activities with Head of Fundraising and key functions within the organizations Use the available Salesforce CRM to make enquiries, update records and produce required reports Ensure timely, accurate and quality MIS for the function Provide reports on Foundations, Major Donors & Corporate fundraising to the line manager on monthly basis. Ensure that all fundraising activities comply with applicable (Indian) law at all times, including compliance with data protection legislation Represent MSF in face-to-face meetings with Foundations, Major donors, foundations & corporates Represent MSF at necessary events Represent your fundraising vertical within the organization KEY DIMENSIONS Final Dimensions Manage costs as per the approved annual plan for your respective function. Raise assigned Fundraising targets per year. Other Dimensions Manage Major donors, Foundations & Corporates across all cities for fundraising Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders as necessary KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Achieve and exceed the financial/non-financial targets for Foundations, Major Donors & Corporate Fundraising income as per annual plan Number of Major Donors, Foundations & Corporates acquired Number of Major Donors, Foundations & Corporates retained Number of donor meetings with Major Donors, Foundations & Corporates Number of Major Donors, Foundations & Corporates profiles developed Number of grant proposals submitted KEY INTERACTIONS Major donors / Foundations / Corporates on behalf of MSF India Fundraising team at MSF India Major Donor / Foundations team at MSF International Communications team at MSF India Finance/compliance team at MSF India General Director s office Operations team at MSF India Requirements Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills Masters degree in marketing or equivalent field. Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years) Minimum 6-7 years of experience in Major donor / Foundations / Corporate fundraising. Understanding of philanthropic space in the country Other requirements (Behavioral, Language, Certifications etc.) Result and quality orientation (Level 4) Capacity to negotiate (Level 4) Behavioral flexibility (Level 3) Initiative and Innovation (Level 3) Team work and cooperation (Level 3) We Offer: Contract duration is one year with a possibility of extension.
