Process Oversight:
Monitor and optimize pasteurization, homogenization, and other processing steps to ensure maximum output without compromising quality or shelf life.
Product Development (R&D):
Formulate and test new dairy-based products (e.g., flavored milk, curd, ghee) and improve existing recipes based on market trends.
Compliance & Hygiene:
Implement and enforce strict hygiene standards and food safety management systems such as
HACCP

ISO 22000
, or
FSSAI
regulations.
Equipment Management:
Design or select appropriate dairy processing machinery and oversee its regular maintenance and calibration.
Documentation:
Maintain precise records of production data, lab test results, and batch validations for auditing and management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Dairy Technology

, or a related field (e.g., Food Engineering, Microbiology).
Technical Expertise:
Knowledge of milk biochemistry, bacteriology, and specialized dairy processing equipment.
Certifications:

Strong analytical problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams like production and marketing.
