Our client company committed to a newly established candy manufacturing company. Currently in the process of setting up our unit and planning to start the operations soon.
Position: Production Head
Industry: FMCG / Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Product: Confectionery / Candy / Toffee
Location:Shyam Industrial Hub,Bakrol - Gatrad Road, Bakrol Bujrang, Daskroi, Ahmedabad
Qualification: Food Technologist (Masters Preferred)
Experience: 3+ Years

All relevant skills and hands-on experience which is required to head and handle the manufacturing/production or processing of confectionery items such as Candies, Toffees, and similar products.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management
• Demonstrated ability to manage complexity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of GMP & FSSAI principles, rules & guidelines
• Experience managing people, with ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
• Supervise the execution of production and logistics plans through operators and other hourly labour in production functions
• Participate in the development and implementation of plans and policies to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility
• Operate production line in accordance with FSSAI guidelines, GMPs.
• (Knowledge of HACCP/SQF program guidelines is preferred.)

• Direct and guide production & machine operators and their activities in execution of production and/or logistics plans (receiving, processing, mixing, filling, packaging, shipping, etc)
• Responsible for shift change management and communication as well as daily production standards and labor reconciliation
• Develop employees to ensure compliance and achieve quality
• Resolve problems and mitigate operational issues that result in negative performance Support Lean Training
• Owns regulatory compliance and food safety process, including: proper sanitary condition, allergen control, pest control, food safety policy, employee safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in daily food review
• Support and execute relevant projects as needed
• Excellent Communication Skills Required.
