The Food Court Manager oversees the daily operations of a multi-vendor food court, ensuring smooth service, high food quality, and exceptional customer experience. This role blends hospitality management, vendor coordination, and strategic planning to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Supervise all food outlets to ensure consistent service standards and food quality
Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health & safety regulations
Oversee inventory levels, reduce wastage, and ensure timely supply replenishment
Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
Staff & Vendor Management
Recruit, train, and schedule staff including cooks, servers, and cleaning personnel
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for improvement
Build strong relationships with vendors; negotiate contracts and monitor service quality
Financial Oversight
Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize cost control
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
Implement strategies to boost revenue and footfall
Marketing & Promotions
Collaborate with marketing teams to plan campaigns, events, and loyalty programs
Coordinate with vendors for joint promotions and seasonal offers
Facility Maintenance
Ensure the food court is clean, well-lit, and visually appealing
Liaise with maintenance teams to address infrastructure or equipment issues
