Job Description

Our restaurant is seeking a friendly and efficient Food and Beverage Server to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. The Food and Beverage Server will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area. Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant - Assist guests in selecting food and beverages, and answer any questions about the menu - Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly - Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner - Ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience and address any concerns they may have - Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area, including setting tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables - Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately - Upsell menu items and promote specials to guests Requirements: - Diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a similar role preferred - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed This is a full-time or part-time position, with flexible scheduling available.
