Job SummaryJob Summary/ Purpose: The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the Food & Beverage Division to maximize profits, enforce quality standards, maintenance of high staff performance and ensures customer satisfaction. Duties
To ensure consistency in quality of service provided in all restaurants and bars meet the minimum standards of the hotel.
Walks through all F&B areas daily and Notes and immediately rectifies operational flaws.
Notes any shortcomings in hardware and software and take appropriate actions
To ensure that purchasing, receiving and all storage are efficiently handled and that the goods purchased conform to the company\xe2\x80\x99s specification.
Plan future business strategy and review ongoing action plan progress.
To ensure consistency of quality, taste, presentation, temperature of beverage served in all restaurants and bars (according to group\xe2\x80\x99s standard).
Provide PR with information needed for mailing, advertising, direct mail and press releases.
Converse with guests in each of the outlets to solicit comments on regular basis.
Ensure that all outlet heads have thoroughly analyzed the monthly P&L performance per outlet.
Develops specific promotions and menus to enhance the quality and profitability of the F&B Division and also establishes a festive season calendar.
Identifies training needs of staff and coordinates conduct of appropriate training or conducts the training himself to respond to that need in a timely manner.
Keep records and accounts.
Plan and price menu items.
Requirements
Degree/ Diploma in Hotel Management
Minimum 2 years as F&B manager.
