The FMS Engineer will provide Level 1 / 1.5 desktop support, system troubleshooting, network support, and day-to-day IT assistance at the client location. This includes Windows installation, hardware maintenance, connectivity support, and resolving user IT issues.
Requirements
Minimum 1
year
of experience in desktop/L1 support.
Hands-on experience in
desktop/laptop setup, OS installation & troubleshooting
.
Knowledge of printer/scanner installation and maintenance.
Basic understanding of
routers, switches, and firewall troubleshooting
.
Experience with network connectivity issues (IP conflict, LAN/WAN, DNS).
Ticket logging and SLA-based issue resolution.
Good communication and user-support skills.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Ticket resolution within defined SLA timelines.
User satisfaction and feedback at the client site.
Accuracy and completeness of daily IT support reports.
Reduction in recurring issues through preventive checks.
Proper documentation of IT assets and activities.
