Maintain high service standards throughout the shift
Address guest queries, special requests, and complaints professionally
Ensure tables are cleaned, set, and turned around efficiently
Monitor table occupancy and manage seating plans during busy hours
Team Supervision
Lead and supervise service staff (servers, runners, housekeeping support)
Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily specials or menu changes
Delegate tasks and ensure staff follow service protocols
Train new staff on service etiquette, upselling, and communication
Order Flow & Coordination
Oversee order-taking accuracy and ensure timely service
Coordinate clearly between the kitchen, barista counter, and service staff
Manage pass counter and check food presentation before dispatch
Ensure smooth flow during peak hours and events (karaoke, live music)
Operational Excellence
Maintain cleanliness and ambience of the cafe floor
Ensure all service equipment is in good condition
Support cashiering, billing, and POS when required
Manage inventory for service items (cutlery, napkins, glasses, etc.)
Customer Engagement
Upsell high-margin items like mocktails, signature dishes, and combos
Encourage guests to engage with ARTISO's experiences (events, karaoke, specials)
Build relationships with regular customers
Requirements
:
1-3 years of experience as a Floor Captain, Senior Steward, or similar role
Strong communication and guest-handling skills
Ability to lead and motivate a young team
Knowledge of cafe menus, service etiquette, and order flow
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Good problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event nights
