Job Description

:

• Monitor Regular implementation of PM schedules for reliability and availability of instruments. Regular monitoring of daily checklist. Develop suitable control logic in consultation with process department. Implementation of new schemes as and when required and ensures optimum utilization of resources. Daily coordination meeting with in department. Maintain minimum inventory of critical spares. Organize repair/rectification of the defective instruments wherever applicable. Ensure 100% availability of all telecommunication equipments. Immediate response to any complaint or breakdown.
• Plan & control maintenance budgets monthly. Plan procurement of spares etc. to reduce inventory and reduce incidents of replacements by using technical tools like LCC etc. Identify & recommend the alternatives for imported spares for package systems. Workout developmental schemes by optimal utilization of resources.
• PM schedules for reliability and availability of instruments. Regular monitoring of daily checklist. & ensure availability of instrumentation. Take corrective actions. Calculate MTTR & take corrective steps for continuous improvements. Monitor & Improve MTBF by using improvement tools & systems. Coordinate timely completion of logic modifications in Distributed Control System. List of current spares to be updated regularly for easy access at budgeting stage of the schemes. Scheduled training to shift technicians. Standard trouble shooting procedures. Updating Hardware as well as Software documents for easy access at the time of breakdown.

• Monitor Calibration Documents. Take corrective actions to eliminate deviations.
• Monitor safety procedures & implement safety requirement in working. Providing Safety trainings & DCS interlock awareness Training
• Proper guidance and support to technicians. Training imparted to increase multi skilling amongst work force.
• Enhance the working of SC in the department improve the monthly score. Take corrective steps for effective implementation of WCM sub committee. Implement recommendations of audit & close non-compliances. Review of proper filling of history sheets and calibration sheets.
