Job Description

:

1. Ensure completion of expansion project for timely starting production on new lines.Co-ordination with consultant & Project Cell for timely release of drawings. Execution of Civil work of Energy Center & Ancillary structure including bill passing. Co-ordination with contractor for timely completion of work with desired quality and within stipulated budget.

2. Ensure proper maintenance as well as Roads to maintain best standards of aesthetics, purpose, asset longevity and internal customer satisfaction. Strengthening of Civil Structures, damaged due to leakage / seepage of Chemicals. Organize & facilitate required resources for day to day requirement of Process / maintenance department. Review, analyze & incorporate necessary change for best housekeeping in plant area. Creating awareness among contract manpower for safety practices.

3. Ensure accurate planning & completion of new constructional projects within the budgeted cost & time frame. Develop plans & schedules for timely completion of all the projects & schemes. System implementation for monitoring of its planning, budgeting & execution Procurement of raw material for projects including resource mobilization & application. Monitor & take preventive steps for maintaining cost & time schedules.

4. Ensure quick redresses of civil related complaints through system development & resource planning to achieve maximum internal customer satisfaction. Develop system for quick redresses of civil complaints. Organize & co-ordinate timely rectification of civil maintenance related complaints. Develop new methods / techniques to avoid repetitive maintenance.

5. Ensure timely painting of structures & buildings for longevity of permanent assets & enhance aesthetics of the surroundings. Analysis painting needs & prepare schedule based on life cycle. (Section wise) Implementation of painting schedules. Find out ways & means to reduce overall budget for painting by study & analysis, of suitability of different varieties of paints.

6. To ensure best practices of Industrial and soft housekeeping of plant. To ensure best practices for industrial house keeping, which includes frequent analysis, equipment up-gradation and schedules based house keeping. Optimum utilization of manpower for industrial house keeping. Cleaning & Maintenance of Storm water and acid-alkali drains to meet environmental criteria. Segregation of all industrial waste and its proper disposal as per laid down procedure.

7. Ensure safe and environment friendly methods of working and it. Ensure world-class manufacturing/ management concepts are implemented in all spheres of activities. Ensure safe work practices and inculcate culture of safety in contract workmen. Monitoring the impact of all activities on the environment and initiate activities to improve the same.
