Job Description

A Mechanical Shift Incharge is responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of mechanical systems and equipment during their assigned shift. This includes managing personnel, ensuring adherence to safety and production standards, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and maintaining optimal workflow.

• Ensuring that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Monitoring equipment performance and coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs.
• Troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
• Maintaining accurate production records and shift reports.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforcing safety regulations and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Conducting safety checks and hazard identification.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and procedures.

Other Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with other departments to optimize overall plant performance.
• Implementing and monitoring standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Managing inventory of spare parts and consumables.
• Handling emergencies and responding to unforeseen incidents.
