The Finishing Incharge is responsible for managing and controlling all garment finishing activities to ensure quality standards, buyer requirements, and production targets are met. This role involves supervising finishing processes, manpower handling, quality control, and coordination with production and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily finishing operations including
thread trimming, ironing, tagging, packing, and dispatch
Ensure garments meet
buyer quality standards and specifications
Plan and allocate manpower effectively to achieve
daily production targets
Monitor finishing quality and reduce
rework and rejection
Coordinate with
Quality, Production, and Packing departments
Maintain finishing
process flow and productivity
Handle buyer or QA inspection requirements in finishing
Ensure proper
labeling, tagging, poly packing, carton packing
as per buyer instructions
Maintain finishing-related records and reports
Implement
5S, safety, and housekeeping standards
in finishing area
Train and guide finishing supervisors and operators
Identify process issues and take corrective actions
Ensure timely dispatch as per production schedule

Qualification & Experience
Diploma / Degree (Textile / Garment / Any relevant field - preferred)
6-10 years
of experience in garment finishing
