The role requires to co-partner the business finance and also business leaders to own complete P&L. Key job responsibilities

• Driving weekly/ monthly reviews around business performance, anchoring debate around actionable business insights with leadership team.
• Controllership - The role requires the candidate to collaborate with Business Ops, FinOps and Accounting team for accounting establishing and ensuring compliance to operational and financial controls & procedures; accurate closure of financial books.
• The role requires to ensure Headcount Controllership for Payments business.
• The role requires working extensively with business finance teams for preparing Annual and Long range operating plans.

A day in the life
The Finance Analyst will be a key business partner with the Payment leadership team to assist in maximizing the potential of Amazon Payment Products. The position is responsible for financial planning and analysis for this high growth business. In this role, you will be responsible for all financial controllership, metrics and overall financial analysis. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity; detail oriented and has the ability to work well with cross-functional teams including categories, Business Ops, FP&A, Accounting, Legal teams and Tech teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Working Experience in B2C business; Digital payments and fintech companies in business partnering, analytics and decision support domain • Experience with Data Warehouse, COGNOS, SQL and Hyperion is a strong plus Advanced Excel user Personal Characteristics: • Solid business judgment capable of driving an organization to the right results with a focused, pragmatic, approach to the business • Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture • Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives. • Ambitious individual with a strong analytic approach and bias for data based judgement - Inquisitive mindset, with proven problem solving ability. Proven track record in leveraging customer insights for influencing business teams.
