We are looking for a Financial Analyst II to join our Sales and Marketing Finance team in Bangalore, reporting to the senior director of Finance. In this role, you will support the marketing leaders with forecasting, reporting, and analytics. You will also support the Worldwide Sales Finance team with worldwide finance, analytics, and bookings reporting projects.

You're the ideal candidate if you are collaborative and have a high level of personal integrity, maturity, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting your goals and deadlines.

What you'll do:

• Support the team with forecasting, reporting, and analytics
• Manage marketing expenses including PR/PO tracking, accruals, and budget to actual value analysis
• Track progress against KPIs (key performance indicators) and clearly communicate actionable findings with the stakeholders
• Work closely with the Sales Commissions function
• Assist with analytical requirements and play a proactive part in ensuring accuracy and consistency on the reported results across the sales organization
• Help guide local leaders to make decisions based on ROI and company objectives.
• Ensure meticulous communication with teams globally and be flexible with supporting multiple time zones as required

What you'll bring:

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in financial planning with a strong desire to develop a career in financial planning and analysis
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to partner with the business to scale the company through a period of high growth
• Ability to analyze large volumes of data and effectively present your findings to decision-makers
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance or certifications in finance from recognised institutes

What success looks like:

After six months, you will...

• Understand data sources and current reporting structure
• Own monthly reports that support the business
• Start creating new metric reports

After about a year, you will...

• Design and create new key performance indicators and reports to shift the sales team to a full SaaS/subscription model
• Own processes and analytics that benefit not only APJ sales but also the whole company
• Participate in Finance-and/or company-led projects
