Company Description Launched in 2007, ixigo is an AI-based travel app based in Gurugram, India. ixigo services Indian travelers and their travel utility, planning, and booking problems using technology and artificial intelligence. Offering train, flight, and bus utility & bookings, the company applies AI for deal discovery, personalized recommendations, airfare predictions & alerts, train delay prediction, PNR confirmation prediction, and automated customer service.
ixigo is looking for a finance professional to join our team to work in the strategic / business finance role. The successful candidate should have a degree from a tier A college / Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of relevant experience, excellent presentation and financial modeling skills, and a demonstrated understanding of the travel industry. Responsibilities include:
Developing investor /corporate presentations for potential investors, including financial models and other materials
Work with the CFO to evaluate M&A transactions, preparing financial and valuation models. Identifying potential acquisition targets
Work with VP finance on preparing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and analysis the actual performance against the budgets
Work on the FP&A including analyzing business trends and highlighting the same to the business team
Researching the travel industry trends and competitive landscape including keeping a track of financial performance of industry players
Work with the CFO in managing relationships with existing and potential investors
Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly earnings presentations,and other financial documents
Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the company?s financial performance and developments in the travel industry
Assisting with the preparation of materials for board meetings and other corporate governance activities.
Qualifications
MBA (tier I college) or CA
Excellent written, presentation and communication skill
Analytical bent of mind and should be able to analyze each business in detail
Must be proficient in MS office skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in stakeholder management, M&A and Business Finance roles
Experience with financial modeling, financial analysis and financial statements
understanding of capital markets, PE funding would be an added advantage (experience of working with Investment banks / research houses will be also be considered)
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
