What's the role?: This role is part of the Finance team. You will support the Platform Foundation businesses by performing duties related to financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting and month end closing. The role will partner with HERE’s stakeholders with fact–driven insights that drive business performance and decisions which ultimately create value to our shareholders.

As Finance Manager I you will become part of the Finance team based in Mumbai. You will be an integral part of process innovation and implementation and drive HERE’s finance function further down the path of automation and reporting excellence. You will have the opportunity to help create and implement new reporting, forecasting and planning practices as a key member of the Finance team. In this role, you will partner with the global corporate finance team and will implement best in class methods for the forecasting of key business drivers.

You will partner with a fast paced and high performing finance team to ensure we meet our short-term and long-term objectives. You will also interact on an ongoing basis with accounting, corporate finance, sourcing, and business finance leaders in addition to other cross-functional teams located across the world.

The key responsibilities and expectations of this role are as follows:
Serve as key contributor to HERE’s leaders and internal stakeholder while partnering with business finance leaders to implement best in class solutions that drive greater transparency and business insights across HERE
Help to Implement best-in-class reporting financial models that enable standardization and automation; historical and current year fact-driven analysis will be the foundation of what you and others on your team will practice every day

  Maintain financial reports and analysis to improve the financial performance of the business unit
• Support month-end close process by providing detailed and timely variance analyses
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly management presentations
• Prepare in-depth analyses, identify trends, question data and communicate findings
• Participate in ongoing continuous improvement and finance related projects to ensure best practices

Who are you?:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area (economics, finance, accounting, business administration or other)
• Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning is a plus
• Self-starter and independent thinker
• Teamwork and cooperation: be part of a team, work together, and seek ideas and opinions for planning and decision-making
• Special knowledge expertise: strong understanding of accounting and finance principles
• Ability and willingness to learn and practice that newly acquired skillset in your day-to-day activities
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to draw out conclusions from large, complex data sets and bridge information across systems, formats and financial statements
• Experience with new processes and learning new toolsets
