Job Description

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, optimizes financial performance, controls costs, and provides strategic support to management for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Prepare accurate financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and ensure timely vendor payments. Implement cost-control measures and improve profitability across departments. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, professional tax, etc.). Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain proper documentation. Liaise with banks, auditors, vendors, and statutory bodies. Analyze financial data, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management in strategic planning. Oversee inventory management and cost of sales in coordination with F&B and stores teams. Train and supervise accounts team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Review contracts, agreements, and ensure financial feasibility of projects.
