Role Purpose & Impact Responsible for providing information on the achievement and forecast of Cost and Revenue Synergies to D&A finance and the Integration Management Office (IMO) Responsible for providing information on the actuals and forecast of the Cost to Achieve (CTA) of the various Synergy initiatives Supporting tracking of other synergies related to M&A along with the impact of the Synergies on the Cost and Revenue targets D&A Reports to Senior Finance Manager FP&A & Information Management with a dotted line to the Director Finance M&A Integration Key Responsibilities Leading the production of the monthly Synergy Tracker schedule for Cost Synergies Liaising with the D&A finance team to capture the impact of the synergies on the BAU budget Liaising with HR to ensure the synergies are captured correctly and consistently Reviewing the CTA associated with the synergies Oversight of the financials in material provided to the IMO Leading the production of the monthly Synergy tracker for Revenue synergies Leading role in the Planning process for the division, working closely with Product finance teams Liaising with Group FP&A and Investor Relations to support quarterly close, earnings announcements and KPIs for the D&A division the relate to synergies Liaising with other Finance teams across LSEG Divisions and Functions e.g. Capital Markets, Post Trade, Technology, Operations, Corporate Functions Maintaining a detailed knowledge and understanding of business drivers within the D&A Division Analysing and interpret financial information pertaining to business performance Make recommendations concerning strategy, prioritisation, and business operations to drive financial performance. Formulate strategic scenarios and modelling of transformation initiatives Leadership & management responsibilities / expertise Experienced in working in a matrixed, global organization Experienced in influencing colleagues and partners Ability to work with multiple senior stakeholders with differing priorities Technical / job functional knowledge Excellent financial modelling, planning, analytical skills Bring a continuous improvement mindset to drive ongoing simplification and efficiency within the remit of the role Proficiency in working effectively and delivering results in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, global business environment Work successfully in cross functional and indirect teams, influencing partners Demonstrate strong customer-focus with a commercial attitude, communication and analytical skills Recognised accountancy qualification Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment managing multiple priorities Business and sector expertise Proven track record to interact with senior management and influence outcomes Demonstrated ability to provide strategic business support Understanding of the D&A Division, the businesses within them and the markets they operate in Post Graduate / Professionally qualified with minimum of 7 years of FP&A / Business Finance + relevant experience At LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
