About Our Client

Our client is the world leader in its vertical and has operations in various countries.

  • Support the Finance Director India and the Business Manager India in finance decision making, fostering strong relationships and providing thought leadership and decision support across the organization
  • Drive a culture of commercial and business performance by developing and measuring cross-functional key performance indicators, targeting value-enhancing opportunities, and educating the business on key financial metrics and cost management
  • Proactively drive business growth, enhance financial performance, and optimize procurement processes for cost savings, while providing strategic advice, educating the organization on key financial metrics, and leading the procurement activities
  • Take ownership of management reporting, ensuring consistency and accuracy across internal stakeholders, and provide clear analysis and recommendations for improved outcomes and target achievement.
  • Oversee P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow management, including reporting, controls, and analysis for the India business, while leading the annual financial planning cycle and ensuring effective internal controls for invoices, purchase orders, and capex processes.
  • Take direct responsibility for managing the Order to Cash (O2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes, ensuring effective cash flow forecasting and management.
  • Provide support to the Finance Director India in local tax compliance and reporting, while delivering a robust risk management and internal control environment for the India business.

The Successful Applicant

  • CA or CPA qualified;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Manufacturing industry and MNC experience.
  • Extensive commercial finance, financial accounting and reporting experience, with proven success in various Finance Management positions;
  • People management and strong interpersonal skills: Leadership, Accountability, Time Management, Conflict management and resolution;
  • Proven history of successful goal setting, achievement and employee management;
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead a diverse audience to ensure achievement of desired results;
  • Well-developed analytical skills and demonstrate ability to implement process refinements and improve efficiencies;
  • Excellent computer skills (especially Microsoft suite);
  • High levels of presentation skills; and
  • A commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
