The Finance Manager partners with business leadership to provide strategic guidance and analytic/ decision making support for evaluating and prioritizing new business ideas, providing the leadership, management and vision to ensure that the organization has the necessary and appropriate financial direction, operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and information technology / systems to effectively and rapidly grow the business, while securing its financial strength and operating efficiency.
The role will need to partner with many internal teams (Category, Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain, FP&A, Accounting) in delivering the business objectives.
This role requires a self-starter with strong business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail and good track record of influencing business partners. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy, and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on professional integrity; and will need to have a proven track record for hiring, developing and retaining the best talent.
This role will require setting up of process to ensure we have a regular and trusted source of information flow that covers:
1. Monthly update on key industry trends and happenings
2. Periodic in-depth understanding of business performance and strategic update of our key competitors and other players in the fintech eco system
3. Quarterly or Annual Financial review of key competition detailing out sources of funds and key application based on shareholder and analyst reports, statutory filing
4. Look at international Fintech business models to evaluate potential ideas and applicability in India. The role will report into the CFO and work closely with the CEO, CFO and the leadership of A-Pay to use mechanism to define future strategy for the business.
The role is an IC role that will be supported as relevant by internal and external resources.

-Finance Manager will be a finance partner to the relevant business team driving a key global program for IN. This includes, among other things, responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting and analysis.
-This individual will be an active member of the leadership team. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have the demonstrated ability to effectively manage the finances of a high-growth business.
-Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling.
-Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.
-Establish and maintain operating and business metrics.
