Job Title: Finance Executive - Hotel Industry

Job Summary

The Finance Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate accounting, cost control, compliance, and financial reporting. The role supports hotel management by maintaining financial discipline and optimizing revenue and expenses.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger Prepare daily revenue reports, night audit summaries, and cash reconciliation Monitor hotel income from rooms, food & beverage, banquets, and other outlets Process vendor invoices, payments, and maintain supplier records Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing Maintain statutory compliance (GST, TDS, service tax, etc., as applicable) Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audits Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis Monitor cost control, inventory valuation, and stock audits (especially F&B) Ensure compliance with hotel policies, accounting standards, and internal controls Support payroll processing and staff expense reimbursements
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting 2-5 years of experience in hotel or hospitality finance (preferred) Strong knowledge of hotel accounting practices and revenue streams Familiarity with hotel PMS and accounting software (e.g., Opera, Tally, SAP, or similar) Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools Good understanding of taxation and statutory compliance Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
